This report contains an overview about different concepts to detect the icing influence on aircraft. The work was part of the DLR@Uni project SuLaDI and contains for example the application of different system identification tools to detect the icing influence as well as the design of new optimal excitation maneuvers. Moreover, a novel methodology was developed to detect a flight performance degradation, which normally occurs in combination with aircraft icing. Furthermore, a way to determine an asymmetrical ice accretion is proposed. This report is a summary of various papers published within the SuLaDI project
