Abstract

Six new species of Salapia Stal from Brazil, Ecuador, and Peru are described and illustrated. Salapia humeralis (Burmeister) is redescribed. Salapia guttifera (Stal) is transferred to the genus Stenometapodus, resulting in the new combination Stenometapodus guttifer (Stal). A key to the known species of Salapia is included
