Das Auftreten von Fazialisparesen bzw. eine Verschlechterung von Fazialis-paresegraden nach Operationen an Akustikusneurinomen kann die Lebensqualität der Patienten erheblich beeinträchtigen. Dabei ist das postoperative Outcome von vielen Faktoren abhängig z. B. von der Tumorgröße, Tumorkonsistenz etc. In dieser Studie wurde untersucht, ob mittels der Ableitung vom Blink- und Masseterreflex eine Prognosestellung in Bezug auf die postoperative und weitere zeitliche Fazialis-pareseentwicklung möglich ist.
