Habiter les habitats (naturels) : quelle place pour l'homme au sein du patrimoine naturel littoral ?

National audienceAbstract : The question of inhabiting in coastal area can be asked specifically within natural heritage places, as ‘la Baie de Somme’ or ‘le Marais de Brouage’ (France), which are open to the public in various ways. How can we inhabit the Natural Habitats, which are enshrined in an ecological expertise and many regulations for the protection of biodiversity? Establishing the Natural Habitats in the social space leads to restrictions, but human uses are kind of obvious in these places, from historical land uses (agriculture, hunting and fishing) to new occupations (tourism, natural sports, etc.). Then, users and protectors of nature have to inhabit together from different representations of these heritage places.Keywords: Inhabiting – Natural protected areas – Heritage creation – Environnemental law - Coastal wetlands.Résumé : La question de l’habiter en zone littorale se pose de manière spécifique au sein d’espaces naturels patrimoniaux plus ou moins ouverts aux populations, tels la Baie de Somme ou le marais de Brouage. En effet l’habiter se trouve confronté aux « habitats naturels », consacrés à la fois par une expertise écologique et par de nombreuses réglementations de protection de la biodiversité. Etablir des habitats naturels dans l’espace social induit des contraintes, mais les usages anthropiques s’y imposent, des activités historiques (culture, chasse, pêche) aux nouvelles occupations (tourisme, sports de nature, etc.). Ainsi, les usagers et les protecteurs de la nature doivent cohabiter à partir de représentations différentes de ces espaces patrimoniaux.
