Formulae are presented for the space‐charge limited current—voltage curve, and for the space charge distribution near the ohmic contact, in an insulator containing an exponential trap distribution. Diffusion is accounted for, and the equations are valid for applied voltage greater than about 1 V, with only a weak restriction on the nature of the back contact. Copyrigh
