The health servicescape model provides an effective tool for both developed and developing markets in terms of both situation analysis and the strategic implementation of effective, user-focused change. European and Chinese health-care providers are challenged in increasingly consumer-centered economies. A health servicescape perspective can be utilized to provide a framework for initiating appropriate responses to the range of consumer and environmental forces. It is suggested that some good practices are emerging, but a range of specific servicescape strategies need to be adopted, particularly in the case of China
