Relevance of the problem and aim of the work. The most recent literature explores the relationship between oral health and other systemic diseases. Numerous studies have proved that poor oral hygiene is associated with an increased risk of developing cardiovascular diseases (CVD). The aim of this study was to identify patients' awareness of the impact of oral health on cardiovascular diseases. Material and the methods. The contingent consisted of 300 subjects undergoing cardiological interventions.
