"Globalization is a concept used to describe a wide range of social, political and economic phenomenons, either as cause or as result, phenomena that without an ideological or analytic frame can lead to the loss of meaning and to confusing the objective for which it is used," Jorge Chen Carpentier, sociologist and Mexican diplomat, tells us.
