Este artículo estudia la introducción de la pedagogía moderna en Colombia desde 1845 hasta 1930. Se demuestra que incluso antes del boom de la Escuela Activa hacía 1935, la escuela ya estaba experimentando una reforma y los profesores eran modelados en el nombre del pensamiento moderno.
