A list of lichens collected on two field trips to Estonia by botanists from the universities of Stockholm and Lund in 1989 is presented. 74 species are reported for the first time from Estonia. Several other species have previously been reported only a few times. From the 11th to the 20th of June 1989 nine botanists from Stockholm visited Estonia and Latvia, and four lichenologists from Lund visited Estonia from the 8th to the 15th of July. The aim of the visits was to st udy the vascular plants and the lichens. Prof. Hans Trass, Tartu University, arranged both excursions in Estonia.
