The effects of energy conservation and saturation are studied in the coordinate space dipole formulation for QCD cascades. Preliminary results for dipole-dipole and dipole-nucleus scattering are presented. Very large effects are obtained from energy conservation, corresponding to a factor similar to 10 in the cross section and similar to 3 in lambda(eff). Some results on the gluon fusion process g + g --> g are also presented
