Background: Motivating student’s research and removing the obstacles are the basic steps in establishing an efficient research system. Objective: The present research has been carried out by aiming at determining the personal and organizational barriers in performing research plans from the viewpoint of students of medical sciences in Shahed University. Methods: The present study is a cross sectional type by adopting descriptive and analytical aspects which was performed in 2014 among 640 students at Shahed University of Medical Sciences.
