Faktor-faktor yang Berhubungan dengan Kejadian Leptospirosis di Kabupaten Bantul

Leptospirosis is a zoonotic disease, which is caused by leptospira. Incidence rate of leptospirosis case in bantul is 17/100.000 people. In Bantul Regency the most number of leptospirosis case in 2011 is in Imogiri, Sedayu and Bantul Subdistrict. The purpose of this study is to analyze factors related to the incidence of leptospirosis in Bantul Regency. Observational research using case control approach. Number of samples are 35 cases and 35 controls. The data is univariat and bivariat analyzied by chi square statistical test with α=0,05. Factors research is indoor home condition, outdoor house condition, existence of rat indoor/around home, existence of pet, activities associated with water, injury history and using footware The result shows the age of respondent is 46 years old in average, most leptospirosis patient are male. Most of respondents were graduated from elementary school and most of them are farmers and labours. There is relation between activities associated with water (p=0,009 OR= 6,303), injury history (p=0,001 OR=10,000) with the incidence of leptospirosis. But there is no relation between indoor home condition (p= 0,632), outdoor house condition (p= 0,807), existence of rat indoor/around home (p= 0,710), existence of pet (p= 0,632), and using footware with the incidence of leptospirosis. It was conclude that the factors related to the incidence of leptospirosis in the Bantul Regency include activities associated with water and injury history
