The term of spatial mobility applies to all age groups of the population. Among researchers there is a lively debate about migration of older people caused by still progressive problem of aging. The article brings up the problem of spatial mobility in old polish and oversees research. Population of elderly people divides into three subpopulations: young seniors, older seniors, the oldest seniors. Motives, migratory patterns and socio-economic features are different in every group.
