The objective of this study was to evaluate the antimicrobial activity (antibacterial, antifungal and antiviral), cell toxicity and chemical composition of hydroalcoholic extracts of brown propolis (PM), green (PV) and native bees jataí (PJ). The antibacterial activity of propolis was analyzed by microdilution method against the Staphylococcus aureus, Streptococcus dysgalactiae, Streptococcus uberis, Streptococcus agalactiae and Escherichia coli. For the antifungal activity, similar methodology was used, compared to Candida lipolytica, Candida parapsilosis, Sporothrix schenckii and Sporothrix brasiliensis.
