BACKGROUND: Precise and standardized response evaluation enables clinicians to tailor primary systemic therapy (PST). PATIENTS AND METHODS: Breast cancer patients underwent (18)F-fluoro-deoxy-glucose positron emission tomography and computerized tomography (FDG-PET/CT) before and after PST.
