Moral formation in a pluralist society – concepts and methods

Ks. Tadeusz ZadykowiczToday’s upbringing and education environment is determined today by the phenomenon of pluralism. The very existence of varieties and openness to them results in some formation suggestions. They are usually a manifestation of a notion that there is nothing permanent and all the opinions have the same value and are dependent on individual judgements and the complexity of social and cultural conditions. Such pluralism claims that the norms that are commonly acknowledged are almost impossible to carry out and everyone has the right to decide what is right or wrong. The Church notices these ambiguities and claims pluralist upbringing insufficient. However, there are possibilities to cooperate on the basis of solidarity and readiness to have a dialogue.Katolicki Uniwersytet Lubelski Jana Pawła I
