Ontical foundations of personalism

lt is a property of man to exist as a person. This property distinguishes man from the animals and gives him dominion over them. The property of a person is love. lt is love that decides about the quality of human life, interpersonal relationships and the relation of man to the surrounding world. All kinds of personalism are rooted in love. Hitherto they have been understood mostly as specific ethical attitudes looking for justification in one of the philosophical systems. Today human knowledge about man makes it possible to talk about the ontical foundation of personalism, i.e. a reality which cannot be rejected or taken lightly, since such attitudes might lead to a destruction of human civilization.Uniwersytet w Białymstoku9-1
