This workshop will discuss the challenges, opportunities and lessons learned around the implementation and execution of the interprofessional education (IPE) program at the University of Florida. Qualitative research will be presented identifying themes from participating health profession programs confirming the important value of IPE initiatives in health profession education. The continued evolution from acute episodic care to chronic long term care in the United States is forcing health care providers to work in a more collaborative manner.
