The purpose of the present study was to investigate the relation of parental attention-deficit/ hyperactivity tendency and mental health of university students, as mediated by attention-deficit/ hyperactivity tendency of university students and parent-child relationship. Questionnaires were completed by 448 university students, and 348 data were analyzed. They were asked to answer questions regarding attention-deficit/hyperactivity tendency of their mother, father, and themselves. They also rated parent-child relationship and their mental health.
