Book review: <i>Advances in Visual Methodology</i>

Sarah Pink advances critical debates in visual methodology by collaborating with key scholars who are pushing the boundaries in this field. As an early careers researcher who has engaged in these visual methods (e.g., Owton 2013), I was particularly intrigued by the span of research that is evolving. I am relatively familiar with Pink's work; she has substantial expertise in this field and this is what enticed me to this comprehensive and nourishing overview of the contemporary landscape of visual methodologies. The book is divided into five parts: (1) key development and issues; (2) visual practices and visualising practice; (3) new visual spatialities; (4) public scholarship, arts, and visual intervention; and (5) toward an interdisciplinary visual methodology
