This textbook is a wide-ranging review of business communication. The first part, which is based around relevant theories and research evidence, addresses generic issues such as: how to overcome different sources of 'noise'; effective ways to use words and images; persuasive communication; and additional issues arising from the organizational context. The second part of the book focuses on communication in specific channels, including forms and questionnaires, business letters, reports, memos, briefings, presentations, meetings, negotiation, advertising, news releases and interviews.
