Investigating the Information Society is a lively and accessible text that introduces debates and data on the information society and, at the same time, issues and principles of social research. It outlines the discourse and theories of the information society, and especially the work of Daniel Bell and Manuel Castells. It also introduces the nature of social science research, exploring the intersection of theory, data and the reflexive researcher.
