AbstractAllogeneic stem cell transplantation (allo-SCT) can induce remission in patients with hematologic malignancies due to graft-versus-tumor (GVT) responses. This immune-mediated antitumor effect is often accompanied by detrimental graft-versus-host disease (GVHD), however.
