AbstractBackground/purposeThe aim of this retrospective study was to analyze the morphology of root canal systems of mandibular incisors using cone-beam computed tomographic (CBCT) images.Materials and methodsA total of 374 mandibular incisors' images obtained from CBCT of 101 patients were included in the study. The following information was recorded: (1) the age and sex of the patient, (2) the tooth type, (3) the number of roots, (4) the root canal configuration, and (5) the bilateral/unilateral diversity in root number and the configuration of the root canals.
