Social Construction View in Environment Behaviour Studies: The Potential for Asian Context in Environment Behaviour Knowledge in Architecture and Urban Design

AbstractThis keynote speech argued the importance of inserting social development context to the environment behaviour studies in Asia, as culture, belief and social circumstances would contribute to the understanding of Asian in its global and local dynamics. In this regards despite the importance of the general narratives in EB studies for the behavioural knowledge development, it has been challenged to be more contextual and communicate better to community of praxis.
