AbstractOur aim in this paper is to obtain new necessary and sufficient conditions under which every solution of the functional differential equation with several deviating arguments of the delay ẏ(t)+py(t)+∑i=1npiy(t−τi)=0 will be oscillating. Here pi 0, τi > 0, and p are all constants, i = 1, 2, …, n. Our results are more explicit and more precise than those of Refs. [5, 6, 8, 9] related to Eq. (2)
