AbstractEthnic enclave is a manifestation by the immigrants of their lives back home. This paper aims to investigate on the physical and cultural attributes of an ethnic enclave, which in turn can be a strong foundation in its conservation approach. Data was obtained through literature review, field survey and interviews with the stakeholders; and matched against the National Heritage Act 2005. The results showed that the attributes fulfilled part of National Heritage criteria in terms of its significance. With these data, the potential approaches on conserving and strengthening the identity of ethnic enclave physically and culturally can be developed
