AbstractA simulation game was designed to facilitate the learning process for a Masters course in human resources management (HRM). The objective of this study was to investigate students’ perceptions regarding their personal learning process throughout the simulation game and to evaluate it as a learning method. Students recorded their activity throughout the simulation and individual interviews were conducted at the end of the simulation game. All available data was analyzed using thematic analysis. The use of the simulation provided an insightful experience and with the additional changes suggested by this study it should become a valuable teaching resource for HRM
