AbstractThis paper explores citizens’ participation intention on environmental impact assessment (EIA) process through behavioral analysis perceptions. Perceived government support, subjective norms, and perceived environmental concern factors are used as the predictor model of behavior intention. The result shows that 40 percent of citizens intend to participate in the EIA process. Another finding reveals the subjective norms as a dominant factor to the participation intention. This situation can be used as a consideration to emphasize the role of social aspect to encourage the citizens on the EIA participation
