AbstractJAEA has been implementingthe FaCTproject in cooperation with electric utilities toward the commercialization of fast reactorcycle system before2050.In this FaCTproject,many innovative technologies with technical challenges are actively used in order to provide significant improvements in economic competitiveness, enhancement of safety & reliability, sustainability, and nonproliferation.The workofdecidingon the adoption of innovative technologiesby the end of JFY2010 is in progress.This paper describes current preliminaryassessment results
