AbstractA whole new class of Chebycheff spaces is introduced. The construction starts with a Chebycheff space on the interval [0, 2π] and yields a periodic Chebycheff space. By a modification of the construction, derivatives can also be made continuous. Practical and theoretical applications are discussed
