AbstractWe present a case of a ruptured thoracic aortic aneurysm from Listeria Monocytogenes aortitis. A contained ruptured saccular thoracic aortic aneurysm was diagnosed on MRA in an elderly male with hemoptysis. He underwent a successful surgical repair. L. Monocytogenes is a food borne Gram-positive bacillus, usually associated with gastroenteritis. Our patient had a recent upper and lower endoscopy with possible simultaneous aortic cross contamination and secondary seeding
