AbstractIn today's culture, television is still a central part of everyone's life. Like everyone else, blind and partially sighted persons want to watch TV and be part of the trend. With the TV signal digitization and the current market growth of connected TVs, we envision the appearance of accessibility barriers for visually impaired persons. As a first step of a larger evaluation to understand the problems users with visual impairments face everyday, we decided to conduct an automated accessibility evaluation to compare TV and Desktop versions of the same Web application, and characterize their conformance with accessibility guidelines.
