AbstractPurpose: Seeding prosthetic arterial grafts with genetically modified endothelial cells (ECs) has the potential to substantially improve graft function. However, preliminary applications suggest that grafts seeded with retrovirally transduced ECs yield a significantly lower percent surface coverage than those seeded with nontransduced ECs.
