AbstractIn this paper four kinds of explicit traveling wave front solutions of a simplified Noyes-Field model for the Belousov-Zhabotinskii reaction (B-Z reaction), i.e., the reaction-diffusion system [formula] are obtained. They are useful for a better understanding of the B-Z reaction and the methods used here might also be useful for finding explicit traveling wave front solutions of mathematical models in other fields, such as in physics, biology, and engineering
