AbstractThe role of translation in our lives is of great importance as translation has always enriched human life as a tool for communication and sharing information across the world. However, it is observed that in the teaching of translation the literature is missing teaching materials for different genres. The aim of this paper is to demonstrate that it is possible to teach different genres of translation through authentic materials with a special focus on teaching the translation of advertising.
