AbstractThe objective of present paper is to revisit the problem pertaining to the boundary layer equations governing the flow of viscous fluid due to a stretching surface. The series solution method has been effectively implemented to a related integro-differential equation. The condition at infinity is applied to a related Pade approximants of the obtained series solution. The features of the flow characteristic have been analyzed and discussed. Comparison of the obtained results for some particular cases of the present study has been done with the earlier results and they have been found in good agreement
