AbstractNanoparticle of LaCoO3 was prepared by Metal Citrate Complex (MCC) method using Lanthanum (III) nitrate hexahydrate (LaN3O9.6H2O) mixtures Cobalt(II) nitrate hexahydrate (Co(NO3)2.6H2O), Citric acid (C6H8O7) and Ethylene glycol (HOCH2CH2OH) or water (H2O), which compared two types of solvents. The mixed solutions were stirred 200rpm at 450°C for 3hrs for obtain the powder precursor. The calcinations temperature range of powder precursor was analyzed using TGA-DTA technique and the particle sizes were discussed. The powder precursor was calcined at 700°C for 8hrs in air and sintering at 800°C for 12hrs in air and the microstructure was analyzed using the XRD, SEM.
