The relationship between sexual variety-seeking and marital satisfaction among available couples

AbstractThe aim of the present study is to investigate the relationship between sexual variety-seeking and marital satisfaction among a sample of couples who were selected randomly for the present study. Measurement tools included SVS (sexual variety seeking) and ENRICH (marital satisfaction). This research included 9 hypotheses, of which 4 were accepted and 5 were rejected. The findings indicate that there exists a relationship between the behaviours of men and women towards sexual variety based on which seeking sexual variety in males is higher in comparison to females. However, there is not a relationship between seeking sexual variety and marital satisfaction. 2011 Published by Elsevier Ltd
