AbstractOBJECTIVESWe sought to characterize a method of attenuating interatrial conduction using radiofrequency ablated lesions applied to the right atrial septum.BACKGROUNDInteratrial conduction occurs in specific zones. Recent data suggest that interatrial conduction can be important in triggering and sustaining atrial fibrillation.
