AbstractExtracellular ATP4− can bind to P2Z purinergic receptors inducing depolarization and cytoplasmic membrane permeabilization to small molecular weight solutes in macrophages, thymocytes, mast cells, phagocytic cells of the thymic reticulum and other cell types.
