AbstractThe ERP type integrated information technology (IT) systems are found especially in the large multinational corporations. The costs and the sustainability of these systems are main factors that small and medium sized enterprises take into account when deciding to implement them. This research focuses on an analysis among different types of ERP systems and puts an emphasis in showing how these types of systems could become sustainable in the frame of smaller enterprises. New means of approaching and projecting these IT systems and the new information technology could offer sustainable solutions in the small and medium sized enterprises.
