AbstractNowadays use of smart phones, tablets, laptops has become an integral part of schedule of work in most organizations and corporations. Many of them are adopting a new policy of allowing the employees to use their own devices at workplace. Despite the economical and usage benefits, Bring Your Own Device policy can pose some serious security risks and have negative impacts depending on employee ethics and lack of safeguards in framing company regulations. This paper investigates the legal issues regarding the implementation of BYOD policy and suggests the solutions to overcome those incidental problems
