AbstractObjectivesMetered Dose Inhalers (MDI) are widely prescribed for patients with asthma and Chronic |Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD). Clinical response to inhaled medication depends on the inhalation technique of the patient. Incorrect technique prevents patients from getting the maximal benefit from their medicines. Inadequate skill in the use of inhalation devices by pharmacists has been well documented.
