South African Globalization Strategies and Higher Education

AbstractThere is an urgent call for higher education institutions to be well equipped with an well-defined and implanted globalisation strategy to tap and provide useful and simple planning tools to utilise global resources effectively. This paper seeks to investigate the problem of how and why Cape Peninsula University of Technology (CPUT) from South Africa has responded to globalisation within the context of its strategic planning and its local, regional, national and global roles and responsibilities
