AbstractThe steady flow of a micropolar fluid between two infinite discs, when one is held at rest and the other rotating with constant angular velocity, is considered. The equations of motion are reduced to a system of ordinary differential equations, which in turn are solved numerically using the Gauss—Seidel iterative procedure and Simpson's rule, for four different combinations of the seven parameters involved. Results are given both in tabular and graphical form, and compared with the known theoretical results
