Public Participation in the Kuala Lumpur Draft City Plan 2020

AbstractLocal Plan of every city in the world reflects its policies and public needs. Hence, it is vital to decide the suitable process representing the public voice. This paper analyses the process of public participation during the preparation of the Kuala Lumpur City Plan (KLCP). Its objective is to determine the levels of awareness and activism, and the planning issues, objectives and comments that concern the public most.
