AbstractThe paper examined the influence of hydrogen peroxide and ozone and singlet oxygen co-agents on the functional groups of the carbon black surface. The influence of the ambient temperature and the concentration of the reactants on protogenic functional groups (carboxylic and phenolic) generating has been studied. To assess the functional composition methods of titration with alkali of different strengh, differential potentiometer, pyrolysis gas chromatography have been used. It was found that the carbon oxidation depends on the sample structure. It is shown that carbon oxidation with hydrogen peroxide depends on the co-agent nature.
