AbstractThis paper describes the use of a system model in the support of a fishery management process. The system provides an integrated framework for describing the dynamic interactions among fish resources, fishermen, processors, and consumers through the notion of market equilibrium. In addition to giving a complete detail on the system components and the integration mechanism, the paper also describes how the integrated system can be used in supporting fishery management processing required by the Fishery Conservation and Management Act of 1976
